A Bible-Based, Spirit-Led Church in Sarnia

Jesu and Shirley are a passionate couple called by God into pastoral ministry. Though their journey began in the Middle East—where they built their family and served the local church—God had more in store. While Jesu led youth and English meeting alongside his oil and gas career, Shirley faithfully led Sunday School. Both, raised in pastoral homes, knew the joys and trials of ministry life.

Initially, full-time ministry wasn’t their plan. But God, through prophetic words and clear conviction, revealed He would uproot and replant them. In His perfect timing, He opened a way to Canada—once unimaginable. After a short season in the GTA, Jesu received a job offer in Sarnia. Despite the unknown, they obeyed, stepping out in faith.

Soon after settling in Sarnia, their passion to reach others deepened. So, they launched a home Bible Club. Then, when they approached Lambton College for space, God opened the door immediately. In January 2024, Lifeline City Church was born—humble, Spirit-led, and full of purpose.

Since then, Lifeline City Church has grown into a vibrant community in Sarnia, blending strong biblical teaching with Spirit-filled worship. Though not denominationally Pentecostal, the church reflects a Pentecostal heart, welcoming the gifts and guidance of the Holy Spirit. As one of the active Indian churches in Sarnia, it serves people from every culture, especially those seeking an Indian church in Sarnia or a Baptist church with a Pentecostal touch.

Jesu and Shirley lead with joyful humility and unwavering conviction. While working full-time and raising two children, they serve the church wholeheartedly, building a Christ-centred family and community.
